'I love being at the Living Room - spending time with the young people and with my team mates.
I am mother of 3, grandmother of 1 and once upon a time I was a physiotherapist. I’ve been involved here since it began in 2011.' |

'After finishing university, I decided to stay in London. Since then I've been working with young people. I love that the Living Room provides a safe, fun and supportive environment where young people have the opportunity to discover their true identity and purpose.' |

'What I like about the Living Room is the care that young people, and we as a team, experience - people generally care about each other here. I also appreciate all the fun and conversations we have.'

Hi, I'm a local mum and youth worker. I love being with teenagers - to be honest, I often find them way more fun and vibrant than adults! I am really enjoying the lunchtimes we spend with the year 7s at school. I love chocolate and hate making cakes as I am very, very bad at it; ask my kids!!

'Since I started volunteering at the Living Room, not only has it been such a blessing working alongside the other team members, but participating in sports, games and getting the to know the young people has given me my youth again. I look forward to more joys and blessings awaiting all of us at the Living Room in the future.'

I love being part of a team that is building up young people. There's fun, laughter, as well as a lot to work through with them - but that is such a key part of life and its so important to journey with them in all of it. I am a mother of 3, a grandmother and a great grandmother.'

'It's amazing that The Living Room is over 10 years old! I love how it provides a safe environment for young people to be themselves, grow in relationships with others and be creative. Its also a place to burn off some energy (physical or mental) playing the sports/games provided.
I am a local myself, having 4 grown up kids -one of which also volunteered at the Living Room which helped with her studies at the time. Come along and see!' |
